The 16,000 m² lagoon is Europe's largest artificial lake and utilizes Crystal Lagoons® technology. This is a specially developed filtration system for large swimming lakes and lagoons. This revolutionary technology is the most efficient in the world and ensures that the lake uses only half the water that a park of the same size typically uses. The closed-loop system purifies the water and then reuses it. The water supply no longer needs to be replenished, except through evaporation. The filtration system uses up to 100 times fewer chemicals than traditional swimming pools and consumes only 2% of the energy required by conventional pool filtration systems. Incidentally, the largest lake with Crystal Lagoons® technology is located in Dubai.
