Santa Rosalía Lake and Life Resort is located between Torre-Pacheco and the coastal town of Los Alcázares. The resort is designed around a green area of no less than 124,000 m². The coastal town of Los Alcázares is less than a 10-minute drive away. Here you'll find several beaches and a beautiful seven-kilometer promenade. The village of Torre-Pacheco, with supermarkets, restaurants, and terraces, is a 5-minute drive away. You can play golf at the adjacent Mar Menor Golf Resort, which also has restaurants and a supermarket. Fairly quiet and perfect for sunbathing. Outside of peak season, you can park your car at the beach. La Manga del Mar Menor (25min) This narrow strip of land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor is perfect for watersports like sailing, windsurfing, and diving. The beaches are also ideal for a relaxing day of sunbathing. The water in La Manga stays warm until late in the season! There are also some lovely restaurants. Cartagena (30 min) A historic city with a rich Roman and maritime history. Visit the Roman theater, the harbor, and the various museums. Murcia (40 min) The regional capital boasts beautiful architecture such as Murcia Cathedral and the Real Casino. Enjoy the lively squares and delicious cuisine. Sierra Espuña Regional Park (60 min) For outdoor enthusiasts, this park is a must-visit. It offers hiking and cycling trails, as well as opportunities for rock climbing and abseiling. Playa de Mil Palmeras (19 min) Lovely wide beach with sunbed and umbrella rentals. This is by the sea. Villamartin Golf Club has an exciting design and many challenges. The course is par 72 and the length is 6132 meters from the white tees, 6037 from yellow, and 5259 from red. (Hole 17 counts as a signature hole and is a par 3 with more than 200 m from the back tee. A deep ravine is collecting many balls, and an extremely undulated green will be a challenge to most players). Hole 17 is the Par 3 signature hole with a demanding 200m carry off the back tee onto an extremely undulating green. The shot from the tee crosses a tree lined deep ravine that protects the hole and presents a challenge to most players. The course is very diverse and unlike many other courses in this part of Spain, none of the holes are equal. One of the challenges is the many old pine and olive trees. Regardless of the challenges one can from several of the holes, enjoy the beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea.
